This means your active map is saved to our secure server.
As long as you see this green dot, changes are saved automatically, along with intermittant backups, to our secure online server.
If you get a prolonged Yellow Indicator, don't worry! Changes are being saved. You can continue your work.
Comapping has been designed to allow you to keep working on a map once you have accessed it online. As you continue working, most often a connection will be automatically reestablished, showing a Green 'Saved' Indicator.
After 1 minute trying to save changes, a warning will appear, affirming the 'Auto-recover Feature' is ON.*
This delay in saving your document is caused most often by a very slow or intermittent internet connection. Auto-recover backs up your active map to the computer on which you are working when Comapping is unable to form a good internet connection to save your map to our online server.
When you see this indicator, you have 2 options:
Continue to wait for a Green Indicator, telling you the internet connection has been reestablished and 'Changes Saved'.
Close or re-open your map. If you do this, your map will be 'Auto-recovered'.
The first time you close with a yellow (or red) indicator, you will get a warning asking if it is ok for Comapping to save a backup to your computer. Click "Yes" unless you are on a public computer (see Auto-recover instructions below).
Auto-recover Instructions: after logging back onto Comapping after losing your connection, you can recover your map.

When you get a Red Indicator, don't worry! Your map has been Auto-recovered while Comapping continues to try to reestablish a connection, similar to when you have a Yellow Indicator.
Remember, you can always continue to work on your map when you have lost your internet connection. Follow the 'Auto-recover Instructions' above soon after.
